Fascinated by the intersection between words and images from a young age, MADELIN ADENA SMITH brings a background in literature to her work in the visual arts and always aims to tell a story through the faces she paints, both in makeup and on the canvas.

Having spent her formative years in Europe, she is multilingual, Ivy-league educated, and accomplished in several mediums, including painting, which she references often in her work.

To date, Madelin has worked on productions for Hulu, National Geographic, Crackle, and The Oxygen Network as well as projects for Toshiba and Trojan. She has also worked on celebrities Lake Bell, Willow Shields, and Zandy Hartig.

When not freelancing, she works as the head makeup artist for Matchco, which has been featured on The Zoe Report and Byrdie.com  to name a few.

Her art is available for purchase on Saatchi Art
